Dwarf Peach Tree

The peach has settled into a compact, dense green canopy that reads as a small tree rather than a lanky fruit-tree whip.

The dwarf peach makes a soft green upper layer above the purple Pugster, keeping the small raised bed layered even at the height of summer.

By mid-June the peach has become the overhead green layer, shading the purple Pugster bloom and orange milkweed below.

Small fuzzy peaches are tucked through the interior branches, a clear sign the spring bloom carried through.

The dwarf peach has filled into a dense green umbrella above the brick-edged pocket.

Deep pink bloom clustered along the branches, first narrow green leaves starting to slip out.
