A dry desert world for one living bearded dragon. Warm sandstone ledges, shaded rock hides, weathered driftwood and a mountain backdrop fill a wide black-framed enclosure. Watch the dragon bask, breathe, blink, explore, hunt crickets and graze greens, then settle into its cool hide when the lamps go out.

Terrarium Tornado Experiment

A living rainforest under glass. Wring rain from clouds, shake out lightning, mist the ferns, stir the wind and ripple a waterfall-fed pool. Neon tetras school through the water while a fire-bellied toad explores the bank. The bearded dragon now has its own separate desert habitat.

Jurassic Terrarium

A miniature prehistoric world under glass, sculpted from research and rendered in Blender. A lipped Tyrannosaurus prowls a valley of tree ferns, cycads and horsetails, hunting and retiring to its rock den at night. A Triceratops herd may stand its ground against it, Stegosaurus graze and flee, a Brachiosaurus browses the treetops and Pteranodons soar under the clouds. Grab the clouds to make rain, stir the wind and run the sun and seasons.

Betta Bowl · Living Silk

A betta lives in a glass bowl of real simulated water on a studio table: a gnarled driftwood arch, dark river rocks and plants that sway in the current, in 3D on a bed of sand, lit by the lamp in its lid. Feed it: the lid lifts off, pellets drop onto the water and the betta rises to take them. Tip the bowl and it rolls on the table while the water and sand slosh round the rocks, or wait for it to rest, flare at its reflection and rebuild its bubble nest.
